About the Job
Adecco is seeking Instrumentation Technicians for our client in North Chicago, IL!
Instrumentation Technicians are expected to maintain, calibrate, service, troubleshoot and repair measuring and test equipment (M&TE), analytical laboratory equipment, and process control systems used in manufacturing, quality assurance, research and development and plant utilities areas. The right candidate may be required to work on a variety of electrical, electronic, mechanical, process control systems, optical types, and or analytical laboratory equipment of M&TE.
All applicants must:
Have a High School Diploma or GED.
Pass medical screening and background checks.
Be able to perform skilled calibrations/services and repairs on (M&TE) according to written policy and procedures.
Be able to report appropriate documentation of calibration work orders with accuracy and timeliness. Also, needs to process electronic work orders, house requisitions, miscellaneous purchase orders and various other administrative activities that support daily job functions.
Be comfortable with Microsoft office products and communicating, through various means (such as email, voicemail, and maintenance management system, Maximo), the status of ongoing calibration/repair activities.
Must have knowledge of various laboratory, research & development, or process instrumentation.
Expertise in GMP/GLP laboratory practices.
Must be skilled in troubleshooting various instrumentation utilizing schematics and flowcharts.
Pay Details: $27.70 per hour
