Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical devices in manufacturing and process equipment.
- Perform routine facility maintenance, ensuring systems operate efficiently, and resolve technical issues related to PLC operations, including system configurations, hardware, data manipulation, and communication.
- Work with industrial instrumentation and transmitters to ensure proper system function and performance.
- Communicate effectively with internal customers, both verbally and in writing, to ensure safe and timely execution of tasks.
- Plan daily maintenance and small project tasks, ensuring safety, health, and environmental compliance.
- Identify and source materials and equipment necessary to address faults and breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with legislative and site codes, maintaining responsibility for personal health and safety and that of colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in both the workshops and the workplace.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical or instrumentation roles with demonstrated Journeyperson-level skills.
- Proven experience with PLC systems and industrial instrumentation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
