About the Job
We are immediately hiring for an Insurance Data Entry Specialist in Dothan, AL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong administrative and clerical skills.
Pay will range between $12.00 - $13.00 per hour and will work a Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm schedule. They offer health insurance, PTO, and a 401k!
Duties:
Transcribe data from various sources into electronic format
Enter data accurately and efficiently into computer systems
Verify accuracy of entered data and make necessary corrections
Maintain and update files and databases as needed
Generate reports, charts, and pivot tables using Excel or other software
Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in data entry or related field is a plus
Proven experience in data entry or administrative role preferred
Proficient in using computerized systems for data entry and retrieval
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for creating spreadsheets, pivot tables, and charts
Prior medical office experience is a plus
