The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in all their needs on their insurance defense cases. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in insurance defense and a strong commitment to protecting the rights of clients.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced insurance defense lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including depositions, motion practice, and trial experience. The lawyer will be responsible for representing clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including automobile accidents, personal injury, and product liability cases. The lawyer will also be responsible for managing client relationships and negotiating with opposing counsel.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, from case inception to trial.
- Develop and execute case strategy and provide timely and accurate legal advice to clients.
- Conduct depositions, prepare and argue motions, and conduct settlement negotiations.
- Build and maintain client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate time records.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Excellent legal writing and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
