**Overview: **
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intake Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care for individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorders (SUD). The Intake Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the intake process, ensuring that clients receive prompt, accurate assessments and that they are connected with appropriate services. This position requires a strong understanding of addiction treatment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities: **
1. **Supervision and Leadership: **
- Manage and supervise the intake team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure effective operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that prioritizes client care.
2. **Intake Process Oversight: **
- Oversee all aspects of the client intake process, including initial screenings, assessments, and the development of service plans.
- Ensure that all intake procedures follow organizational protocols and comply with regulatory standards.
3. **Client Engagement: **
- Conduct interviews and assessments to gather comprehensive information about clients’ needs, history, and goals.
- Establish rapport with clients, families, and referral sources to facilitate seamless admissions and connections to services.
4. **Collaboration: **
- Collaborate with clinical staff, case managers, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
5. **Data Management and Reporting: **
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client intakes and assessments in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Generate reports and analyze data related to intake processes and client demographics to improve service delivery.
6. **Quality Assurance: **
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the intake process and make recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in SUD care and intake services.
7. **Crisis Management: **
- Provide support and intervention in crisis situations, ensuring that clients receive immediate care and appropriate referrals.
**Qualifications: **
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in behavioral health, with a focus on substance use disorders preferred.
- Previous experience in an intake or admissions role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of SUD treatment modalities and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and families.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Certification in addiction counseling or a related area is a plus.
