Description/Job Summary
The Intake Specialist is responsible for processing new student applications and registrations. This includes completing customer/student scheduling, administering departmental surveys, entering test results and other data for Workforce Development programs.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Responsible for intake and referral of students enrolling in Workforce Development courses.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Conducts quality checks for student registration and enrollment forms.
- Submits student registration forms to the registration staff.
- Schedule placement tests to incoming students. Advise students of score and assign them to the appropriate class(es)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good customer service skills
- Exp in working in Higher Education
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years working in Higher Education
