Overview
As a member of the Centers of Excellence (COE), the Integration Expert is a strong technical role in our Professional Services team and will help implement innovative software solutions for energy companies across North America and Latin America. The Integration Expert will be responsible for planning, designing, deploying, and innovating on technical services for customers as part of implementing proprietary software solutions to best fit customer needs. They will develop master and facilitate improvements of Quorum interfaces with 3rd party applications, deployments, infrastructure management, data load/conversion, and/or custom reporting. The individual should have a strong desire for continuous learning and growth of technical skills, with the aspiration to leverage these skills to provide a positive experience for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end integration, installation, migration, and other technical services for enterprise software customers, often with complex and highly customized solutions
- Lead technical teams and initiatives focused on analysis, configuration, development, deployment, integration, testing and support of Quorum’s business software applications using industry standards, best practices, and tools
- Master and train others on technical skills required for successful delivery, such as SQL, APIs, Azure DevOps Pipelines, C# troubleshooting, and in-house Quorum tools
- Take a leadership role in the design, configuration/development, and testing phases of software implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects
- Serve as the primary Quorum representative for customers in order to gather business and technical specifications, install software updates, train IT personnel, and resolve issues
- Manage multiple ongoing customer commitments and balance priorities across projects on independent schedules, working toward successful completion of project-level goals
- Demonstrate technical and product expertise in customer conversations while representing Quorum positively
- Mentor junior team members towards mastery of technical skills and ownership of high-quality, timely work
- Plan and execute improvements to software implementation and configuration tools, processes, and documentation
- Develop a deep understanding of Quorum’s architecture systems, integration platform capabilities, and software development lifecycle processes
- And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, business, or related discipline that has an analytical component OR equivalent experience
- 5+ years of related experience in software development, cloud operations, business consulting, or a similar industry
- Experience working with customers and software users to gather business and technical requirements, develop efficient and high-quality solutions, and troubleshoot reported issues
- Experience leading a team (3-5 people), mentoring junior colleagues, and managing end-to-end work deliverables
- Strong database skills (SQL) such as writing functions/procedures, converting and managing large sets of data, configuring application features, and troubleshooting issues
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and/or systems architecture
- Moderate programming skills (C# and/or other computer programming languages)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, desire for continuous learning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will have some combination of several of the below preferred skills:
- Experience working with Cloud-based solutions, Cloud/SaaS project delivery model, DevOps deployments, and/or infrastructure management
- Demonstrated technical prowess including solving complex problems, programming skills (SQL, C++/C#, Java, VB and/or other computer programming languages), and familiarity/understanding of systems architecture
- Experience with one or more of the following: object-oriented programming, web development, REST APIs, Postman, SAP integration
- Demonstrated team leadership skills such as managing project schedules and fostering team collaboration
- Aspiration or work experience in the oil and gas industry
- Experience in management of software development efforts
- Interest to help grow and develop customer relationships through direct and meaningful interaction
- Willing to travel occasionally during the week to customer site (most work with customers is performed remotely, with a hybrid schedule of 2 days/week in the Quorum office and 3 days/week from home)
- Proficiency in Spanish, both written and verbal
Additional Details
- Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and passport/ID validation.
