Senior FP&A Analyst
Our client, a dynamic company in the health technology sector, is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their team. This interim role will support the team through Q4 and year-end, with a focus on the 2025 budgeting process. There is potential for conversion for candidates located in the Bay Area who can work in the office 3 days a week. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with various departments and contribute to strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general G&A finance support and cover gaps on the team, including forecasting, variance analysis, consolidations, and R&D.
- Lead the 2025 budgeting process, working with cross-functional teams to consolidate budgets, manage business partnerships, and oversee project management.
- Act as the point of contact for the Care Team, supporting G&A areas such as HR, IT Security, Facilities, and hardware.
- Support a sustainable and profitable go-to-market strategy through budgeting, accurate forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
- Enhance the quality of actionable, ad-hoc analysis provided to business partners.
- Build financial models and processes in Adaptive Insights for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Develop, standardize, and automate financial reports, metrics, and dashboards for monthly/quarterly management and board reporting.
- Execute ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate FP&A, ideally in pre-IPO/late series companies ($300M+ revenue).
- Experience in providing high-quality analytics and business partnership for financial and strategic planning, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis.
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Insights is highly desirable.
- Experience with Mode Analytics or Tableau is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent analytical, modeling, and communication skills, with a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a consultative style.
- Extensive knowledge of Excel and G-Suite.
