Intern, Commercial Credit and Data Analytics - BMW Group Financial Services NA, LLC

This is a full-time internship position for our Fall Rotation, from September 9, 2024 through December 20, 2024 in Columbus, OH.

The intern will collaborate with the Commercial Credit and Data Management teams on AI/Data Science and/or Innovation cases and support other Commercial Credit initiatives as needed. The intern will participate in strategic meetings and showcase progress and successes to business and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business partners, Data Analytics and IT teams to understand department needs and develop possible solutions.
• Support implementation and enhancements of tableau reporting and Generative AI/LLM initiatives.
• Keep up to date with latest technology trends.
• Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers.
• Develop understanding of Commercial Credit principles including:
  • Automotive financial statements, ratios, and calculations.
  • Commercial Finance Credit Risks.
  • Commercial Finance Credit Policies and Procedures.
  • High level understanding of BMW Financial Services from a customer and dealer perspective. (Area's outside of Commercial Finance Credit, i.e. New Business, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service, Collections, etc.)

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $22
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $28

The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
• Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application
• Field of study: Engineering, Computer Information Science, Accounting, Finance, Business
• Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
• Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)
