- Dynamic Exposure: Immerse yourself in our business units, including Human Resources, Revenue Management, Communications, Finance and Accounting, IT, and Marine Operations.

Key Details:
- Hybrid Program: This internship is a hybrid program based in Miami, Florida. Students must be available for the entire duration of the program and willing to work a hybrid schedule, combining both in-office and remote work. This is a full-time opportunity, with interns working 40 hours per week. While hours may vary, interns can expect to work from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Relocation Support: Carnival provides housing for interns who are relocating to Miami for the summer.
- Eligibility: Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are preferred for the program.
- Technical Requirements: Interns will be provided with a company-issued laptop and will need reliable internet when working remotely.

Global Ethics & Compliance
As Carnival Corporation continues to be a leader in the cruise industry, it is paramount that we comply with the various global and local Laws and regulations that governs how we operate. The Global Ethics & Compliance department plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Carnival Corporation and its brands are committed to lawful and ethical conduct.
As an Intern, you will support two areas of the Global E&C department: Training & Communications and Ethics & General Compliance. You will work within a dynamic environment that exposes you to global projects expanding across all brands and functional areas of our business. Under mentorship of our senior team members you will engage with Legal, Compliance, Learning & Development, and Communications teams across the organization. This internship isn’t just an opportunity to work; it is a pathway to gain global exposure, dive into projects that will impact the entire Carnival Corporation employee population and provide meaningfully contribution to improve the culture of ethics and compliance.
Essential functions may include and are not limited to:
Training & Communications:
- Development: Design and develop compliance and privacy training and communication materials.
- Feedback: Collect, manage and report on training feedback from employees.
- Monitoring: Collect and review training completion reports from all brands.
- Evaluation: Review existing training assessments, offer suggestions for training improvement and
- Educate: Explore different strategies and programs to deliver messaging to educate business.
Ethics & General Compliance:
- Support: Attend leads meetings for note taking and tracking initiatives. Prepare power point presentations, graphics, dashboards for General Compliance area. Research and benchmark policies, procedures of other companies in General Compliance area. Track progress on road map.
- Policy: Assist with developing and improving compliance processes and procedures.
- Monitoring: Assist with collection and analysis of monitoring data and identify trends. Create visuals and dashboards to showcase output.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in automation and metrics initiatives that are commencing.
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills: The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with colleagues and employees.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and employees.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of Learning & Development principles and practices is a plus.
