About the Job
The intern will support the purchasing team in various purchasing projects. Some of the responsibilities are to support buyers with market screenings, pre-selection of bidders, creation of RFP (Request for Proposal), analysis of proposals, and negotiations. The intern will work independently on smaller purchasing projects. As well as, supporting and assisting in further development of purchasing processes, tools, systems and guidelines.

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $25.30.
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $32.20.
The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application
- Field of Study: Finance or Business Administration
- Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
- Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international students only)
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
- Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities
Preferences:
- Languages: English (fluent, oral and written), German beneficial
