The Institute for Environmental Sovereignty's mission is to advance Tribal Nations' leadership in natural resource governance and environmental stewardship; the safeguarding of Indigenous peoples' cultural heritage linked to the landscape and natural environment; and innovative Indigenous-led approaches to environmental protection.
The intern will assist the NCAI Institute for Environmental Sovereignty with a groundbreaking study that aims to better understand environmental priorities across Indian Country. The intern will assist the Senior Research Associate with data collection and data analysis, data organization, thematic analysis, and data preparation., The intern will also be responsible for coordinating meetings with tribal citizens, organization of group meetings, as well as associated logistics and note-taking during these meetings.
