Job Title: Internal Accountant

Location: Charleston, WV

Position Type: Part-time (Approximately 30 hours per week)

Hourly Rate: $20/hour

About Us:
We are seeking an Internal Accountant with a Bachelor’s Degree to join our non-profit organization. This opportunity offers a chance to utilize your financial expertise in a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain journal entries and financial statements
• Reconcile and balance accounts between intercompany financials
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Prepare biweekly payroll and maintain PTO balances and accruals
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll taxes and remit payment
• Reconcile and prepare annual W-2s and 1099s
• Administer Flex Spending program and reconciliation of employee benefits
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in financial statement preparation and journal entries
• Experience with accounts payable and bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with W-2 and 1099 preparation
