- Job Summary
The Internal Communications Coordinator has responsibility to support the organization’s employee communication efforts through the creation of multilayered content that is designed to inform and engage. The internal communications coordinator will reinforce the CoxHealth culture as a Best Place to Work through ongoing storytelling and communication support. The individual will contribute to writing, editing, photography and design functions in support of all internal communication vehicles, such as Corporate Communications websites, news publications, digital signage and more. The Internal Communications Coordinator will report to and support the System Director of Corporate Communications.

Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications or marketing
Experience
- Preferred: Two years of experience in a related field
Skills
- Strong journalism and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, writing and editing. Knowledge of AP style.
- Ability to use compelling storytelling to support the organization’s goal of creating an outstanding employee culture.
- Ability to explain complex topics in an easy-to-understand, engaging way.
- Ability to create in-depth, strategic content, as well as deadline-driven, quick-turn internal news coverage.
- Familiarity with end-user web content creation and management (Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem).
