*Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Vascular Radiologic Technologist:*
* Assists in the performance of various invasive diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures including but not limited to, Scrubbing and Circulating all assigned procedures.
* Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging procedures
* Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician
* Performs specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures, including nuclear medicine and sonography
* Assists radiologist in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations
* Prepares images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician
* Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed
* Completes forms and maintains records, logs and reports of work performed
* Monitor patients during procedures, operating a C-Arm (within the scope of practice)
* Prepares equipment which includes cleaning and sterilizing instruments, maintain inventory of medical supplies
*Qualifications:* _To perform the position of a Radiologic Technologist successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required; Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology (CV) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology certification preferred.
* Minimum two years experience in interventional radiology, special procedures, cardiac cath lab or general diagnostic preferred
* Knowledge of over the wire experience preferred but not required
* BLS is required, but can be obtained within 90 days of hire.
*Education/Experience: *Must have at least a 2 year degree in Associates of Applied Science of Radiology Technology with an ARRT certification .
*Computer Skills: *To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR), a plus.
*Certificates and Licenses: * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
