Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
The inventory Associate will receive a product and manage inventory. This person needs to be detail-oriented and have some Excel skills. They will receive products daily, and manage the stocking of the product and the overstock. They will assign placement of new items, rotate stock with expiration dates, and spot count occasionally.
An inventory management associate, also known as an inventory clerk, is responsible for tracking and managing a company's inventory. Their duties include:
- Counting inventory: Counting the number of products, supplies, and materials in stock
- Recording inventory: Maintaining and updating inventory records
- Managing orders: Placing orders for more inventory based on demand
- Processing shipments: Ensuring products and supplies are shipped to the correct location
- Data entry: Recording information using automated scanners and digital data entry systems
- Resolving issues: Addressing any issues that arise with inventory records or shipping transactions
- Maintaining organization: Keeping workspaces clean and organized
- Coordinating with vendors: Working with vendors to ensure the correct items are available
- Using equipment: In warehouse settings, inventory associates may use forklifts and other equipment to move items
