Position Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist will conduct bin validations, appropriate system research and transactions to document root cause of inventory discrepancies while assisting all departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Other duties may be assigned as needed.)
- Perform inventory adjustments by expedited requests of inventory discrepancies from all departments.
- Provide feedback to appropriate functional groups on gaps to inventory control compliance issues for quick resolution.
- Lead and participate in projects/kaizan events for continuous improvement in inventory control and material transactions.
- Operate forklift during daily duties.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks as required.
- Correctly use inventory control system to move product between locations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs. (Word and Excel)
- Complete daily scan gun audits.

Required Experience:
Minimum Level of Education/Training Required
- 2+ years experience shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum Experience Required
- Strong attention to detail/accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player.
- Strong computer skills and basic understanding of ERP system.
- Prior work experience in inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and ability to change priorities quickly and remain positive.
- Customer focused with a strong aptitude for quickly learning part numbers.
License or Certificate Required
Fork truck certification
