We have incredibly high standards for our meat – all being raised in the USA by small-scale family farmers on lush pastures free from any and all chemicals.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an Inventory and Logistics Coordinator to focus on supporting Wild Pastures. This role will be responsible for managing the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring efficient inventory management, and overseeing logistics operations. This role will involve tracking inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records in the inventory management system. The coordinator will work closely with the warehouse, suppliers, and carriers to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery, optimize stock levels, and support the overall supply chain operations of the company.
Essential Functions

- Manage and conduct weekly inventory reviews, reconciliations & ERP transactions.
- Work closely with supply chain and warehouse team(s) to successfully track inventory levels across all SKUs & storage locations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to successfully coordinate inventory replenishments, raw materials, paperwork and scheduling of inventory inbounds/outbounds.
- Track inventory levels at and effectively communicate with multiple external storage partners across the country.
- Support supply chain team with cross-docking and inventory resorting between DCs and internal & external warehouse locations.
- Review and manage intercompany sales & inventory levels of finished goods.
- Manage & track inventory at local 3rd party storage locations and necessary inventory movements – both finished goods and raw materials.
- Successfully manage freight vendor relationships, costs and lead-times to support business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, and warehouse operations to align logistics with business objectives.
- Understand business challenges through data analysis, create actionable insights, and communicate and/or problem-solve based on your findings.
- Accurately review & approve vendor invoices.
Competencies
- Attention to Detail – Ability to accurately track inventory, monitor shipments, and maintain meticulous records to ensure data integrity and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Analytical Thinking – Capable of analyzing inventory data and trends to forecast needs, identify inefficiencies, and optimize stock levels for smooth operations.
- Problem-Solving – Strong skills in resolving logistics challenges such as delayed shipments, inventory shortages, or order discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Organizational Skills – Efficiently manages multiple tasks, such as coordinating shipments, processing orders, and maintaining inventory records, while prioritizing workloads in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and Collaboration – Effective at coordinating with cross-functional teams, including warehouse staff, suppliers, and shipping partners to ensure clear and timely information exchange regarding orders, shipments, and inventory levels.
- Technical Proficiency – Familiarity with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, inventory management software, ERP/IMS systems, and the ability to work with shipping and logistics platforms.
Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Between 1-2 years of supply chain and inventory management experience.
- At least 1 year of experience planning & coordinating freight.
Preferred Education & Experience
- CPG and/or start-up experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP, WMS and/or TMS implementation preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies that weigh up to 20 pounds, and to bend and stand as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position during regular business hours in the employee’s time zone. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Preference for candidates that are available during MST/CST hours. This position does not require travel.
