Position's Pay Range: $48,300-60,400 depending upon experience
Shift: 6pm to 6am 12 hour shifts

Position Summary
This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.
Essential Functions
- Gather, monitor, and analyze inventories for forecasted customers
- Confirm accurate retain and runout times while maximizing payload and on-time performance by analyzing inventories and sales as information becomes available
- Evaluate and adjust current and future orders based on driver capacity and customer demands
- Coordinate with Asset Specialists to update known sourcing as changes occur and revise daily operating plan as necessary to ensure operational efficiency
- Communicate effectively with Load Planners, Scheduling Team Leaders, and external customers on service issues
- Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent business experience; degree preferred
- Previous logistics dispatch/scheduling experience preferred
- Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft and logistics application software
- Ability to solve problems and work in high pressure situations, using independent judgement and discretion
- Ability to work well in teams with staff and contractors from all departments
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent personal skills and positive attitude
