Position Summary
Sovah Health is looking for the ideal candidate to perform a variety of tasks related to warehousing and distributing supplies throughout the medical center.
· Stock received product in assigned warehouse location.
· Inventory and reorder product for assigned department par locations.
· Process, pick, deliver, and put away product for assigned par locations.
· Maintain assigned par locations stock levels commensurate with demand and replenishment schedule.
· Respond to department requests for non-par and off-schedule product needs.
· Input patient charges and generate reconciliation reports.
· Keep receiving area, warehouse shelves and aisles, and assigned par locations clean, organized, and free of hazards and obstructions.
· Ensure all warehouse locations are correctly labeled and perform warehouse cycle counts.
· Advise supervisor of out-of-stock items and changes in product demand that may impact service or inventory levels.
· Rotate warehouse and par stock.
· Perform product expiration date checks and physical inventory counts as scheduled.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including week-ends and holidays to insure appropriateness and continuity of care for the patients of Sovah Health Danville.
