Job Position: Janitorial
Location: Ontario, CA 91761
Pay Rate: $18.00 hr.
Monday-Thursday 4/10 schedule
Shift: 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
Description:
Description of Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
- Cleaning windows, glass doors, mirrors
- Cleaning offices
- Cleaning and dusting counters, tops of filing cabinets, shelves, frames on walls, furniture
- Cleaning & maintaining restroom supplies or in kitchen areas, as instructed
- Removing waste/emptying trash cans
- Cleaning & disinfecting counters, sinks, microwaves, lunch tables & benches in lunchroom areas
- Keeping janitorial storage area organized
- Notifying supervisor when cleaning or bathroom supplies are running low
- Notifying supervisor of any inoperative light bulbs, facility damage or other needs for repairs
- Following all health and safety regulations
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret written information in English; ability to write and communicate orally
- Must be able to do physical work normally found in janitorial operations
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
- Must demonstrate professionalism
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually and with a team
Physical Demands of Job:
- Walking/standing around equipment and machinery
- Exposure to excessive noise hearing protection is required and provided by company
- Exposure to oil mist from machinery in the shop areas
- Lifting is 10 50 lbs.
