Responsibilities
+ Joint Data Links Management & Planner Support Analyst will:
+ Maintain currency on all technical aspects of the command-and-control systems.
+ Recommend Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for improving data exchange system connectivity to improve situational awareness and Combat Identification (CID) for the tactical warfighter.
+ Provide Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) support to identify the datalink architecture and network design parameters needed to connect the various operational units within the Joint Data Network (JDN).
+ Required support will include:
+ Acting as program JDN expert and Joint Multi-TDL operational infrastructure point of contact for interservice coordination.
+ Supporting the utilization of and training on operational equipment configurations.
+ When not included in Operational Tasking Data Links (OPTASKLINK), provide any additional information for operations directly to participants via alternate procedures, and assist the network manager for Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems in Air Operations Center (AOC) operations and develop architectures for supported events.
+ Ensuring optimization of TDL systems in support of multiple data links (i.e. SADL, Link-11, Link-16 and Link-22) where applicable.
+ Assist with systems engineering to include research and development, to recommend the integration, installation, and training for sustainment and enhancement of existing data links architecture and network design to support emerging capabilities, advanced programs missions, ISR (traditional and non-traditional) integration, and interoperability in support of expanded TDL participation.
+ Provide technical support to local and supported Data Links Operators (DLO) and Joint Interface Control Officers (JICO) for TDL operations.
+ Support the utilization of and training on operational equipment configurations when not included in OPTASKLINK; the JICC support shall provide any additional information for operations directly to participants via alternate procedures.
+ Assist the network manager for TDL operations, develop architectures for events, and verify correct inclusion in other architectures in which the customer participates.
+ Collaborate with development of TTPs and integrate government selected products (software and hardware) and sources into analysis and data links systems.
+ Work with the JICC, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance Division (ISRD), Weapon System Manager (WSM), and Configuration Manager (CM), to ensure compliance with OPTASK COP parameters, maintenance of intelligence feeds, and correlation of the ATO and other messages into the air picture displayed on the CTP.
Qualifications
+ Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any subject _or_ five (5) years of experience with AOC or TACCS systems.
+ Must be a graduate from JT-201, Mutli-TDL Planners course. Qualification shall have been issued by the Joint Interoperability Division (JID).
+ Must be a graduate from Air Operations Center (AOC) ICO IQT course.
+ Possess operational knowledge with multisource correlation tools to include, but not limited to pH-1, TALON THRESHER, FADE MIST, and AARDVARK.
+ Collaborate with development of TTPs and integrate government selected products (software and hardware) and sources into analysis and data links systems.
+ Possess a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Completion of JICO or Advanced JICC Operators Course (AJOC) conducted by the Joint Inoperability Division (JID) desired.
+ Rated or Limited Duty Officer experience or other service equivalent desired.
