• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
• Analyze blueprints and technical diagrams before performing work on electrical systems to ensure installations are correct.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Manage and train apprentice electricians, providing guidance and expertise in commercial electrical work.
• Ensure continuity of wiring to ascertain compatibility and safety of the electrical components using testing devices.
• Execute tasks related to project completion, including troubleshooting problems and answering technical queries.
• Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
• Document and maintain records of all installations, inspections, and maintenance work carried out.

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician, specifically in commercial electrical projects.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license, preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction, and the National Electrical Code.
• Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform the job, which may include standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads, and working in confined spaces.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
