Jr. Analytic Computer Programmer (Hybrid) - Ishpi Information Technologies, Inc

We are currently seeking candidates for this role to work in our Chesapeake, VA area. This is not a remote position. 

• Creates code to efficiently present or translate financial and accounting data to management staff and auditors. Will primarily be using SQL code , or VBA code in Excel, programs tools to assist in financial management and audit deliverables.
• Serves as an analytical resource on the engagement team in the business process, financial and technology risk areas. Identifies, analyzes and defines client issues by conducting relevant research, distilling data, and creating reports.
• Participates in operation and risk assessments, and performance measures and indicators and assists with process improvement diagnoses, process modeling and documentation, benchmarking strategies, and regulatory and operation risk management.
• May require development of technical documentation support.
• This role could have direct engagement with clients.

Requirements (education/experience/certifications):

• BA/BS Accredited degree
• 2 years of related demonstrated experience
• Should be familiar with preparation and presentation of federal financial statements would be a plus.
• Must be familiar with and be able to code in SAS and Excel for use with logistics and financial databases, including Oracle R10.
• Must be familiar with statistical sampling methodologies.
• Strong communication skills
• Technical Skills: able to read and program in VBA, MScript
• Public Trust Clearable. Must be a U.S. Citizen

Desired Skills:

• Technical Skills: Python, PowerBI, SQL
• Experience with government financials
