Junior Accountant

Our client, who is one of the largest in their industry, is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their rapidly growing team.

Overview of the Junior Accountant Opportunity:

• Perform month-end close procedures, input journal entries, and other data entry management with minimum supervision
• Review and processing of employee expense reports
• Process weekly cash receipts
• Maintain accrual/prepaid/depreciation & amortization schedules
• Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly and monthly basis

Qualifications of the Junior Accountant:

• BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Solid understanding of financial statements, journal entries, and data entry in accounting software
• Proficient with Excel and efficient with learning software capabilities and relationships
• High attention to detail and skeptical mindset
