Job Description
Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Junior Program Analyst to join our team, supporting a large project at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role involves supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in tasks requiring program planning, audits, and evaluations related to various healthcare programs and projects. The Junior Program Analyst will assist with program analysis, strategic planning, integrated master scheduling, event planning, Congressional Affairs, metrics, financial management systems, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support VHA in program planning, audits, and evaluations related to healthcare programs and projects.
- Assist in program analysis and strategic planning initiatives.
- Contribute to integrated master scheduling and event planning.
- Support Congressional Affairs activities and metrics reporting.
- Assist in the development and management of financial management systems.
- Contribute to risk management efforts and ensure compliance with established guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide input on program improvements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to program activities and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in program analysis, evaluation, and management.
- Proven ability to support program planning, audits, and evaluations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal healthcare agencies.
- Certification in Project Management or Program Evaluation.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.
Compensation:
- Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
- The proposed salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000.
