GENERAL PURPOSE
Position Overview: As a Key Account Manager specializing in bioreactors, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy within the biopharmaceutical sector. Your primary responsibility will be to accelerate product adoption through consultative engagement with key decision makers. and consultation to convert potential clients into long-term partners. You will leverage your deep understanding of the market and bioprocessing technologies to articulate our winning value proposition and create long term partnerships from pre-clinical to commercialization.

Primary Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
- Understand client needs and challenges to position our bioreactor solutions as essential to their scale-up success.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Ability to effectively network within large accounts and create relationships with C-Suite
- Qualify leads and manage the sales process from initial contact through to closure.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and our company.
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify key players, market trends, and potential opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to penetrate target markets and achieve sales targets.
- Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track performance metrics and optimize sales processes.
- Technical Expertise and Support:
- Serve as a technical expert on our bioreactor products, providing guidance and support to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with our engineering and product development teams to tailor solutions that meet client-specific requirements.
- Market Positioning and Brand Awareness:
- Promote our brand and products through presentations, demonstrations, and participation in industry forums.
- Collaborate with marketing to generate collateral and sales tools to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Help in researching and developing VOC (Voice of the Customer) input for new products and services.
Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge/ Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or related to Biological Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven track record in business development and sales within the biopharmaceutical or cell therapy industries, with specific experience in selling bioreactor systems.
- Strong understanding of cell therapy and/ or bioprocessing technologies and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel ~50% throughout the assigned territory as required.
