We are seeking a Kindergarten Teachers aide/Paraprofessional to join AmeriSchools at our Tucson campus. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Contributes to student learning, growth, and advancement.
- Assists with lesson plans and activities.
- Establishes and maintains a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.
- Oversees safety of children.
- Attends staff meetings, school programs, and in-service trainings.
- Shares and uploads classwork to appropriate shared school drive to be used for publication and media.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED AND an Associate’s Degree or higher, OR two years of study (equaling 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher learning, OR obtained a passing score on one of the Arizona Department of Education approved assessments (ETS ParaPro Assessment {Praxis}, ACT Workkeys {Writing, Applied Mathematics & Reading for Information}, Master Teacher’s ParaEducator PD Now! {formerly ParaEducator Learning Network})
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of various office equipment and educational software.
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs at times.
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Current CPR certification.
