Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure efficient and timely completion of all kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
- Manage and Train Kitchen Staff: Handle scheduling, performance evaluations, and necessary disciplinary actions.
- Uphold Quality Standards: Maintain high food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate Financially: Work closely with the General Manager to meet financial goals through cost control and menu planning.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and order supplies while controlling waste and spoilage.
- Enhance Guest Experience: Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure Health Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a managerial role.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivation and coaching.
- Operational Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety and proper handling techniques.
- Inventory Proficiency: Expertise in inventory management and cost control.
- Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high quality and efficiency standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering collaborative work environments.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
