Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Kitchen Utility Worker to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. We are currently hiring a Kitchen Utility worker for an area hospital. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate. Pay will be $12.00+ per hour DOE. You may work up to 11-12 hours a day.
As our Kitchen Utility Worker your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Maintain and clean all units and equipment according to local and hospital required food safety standards.
- Wash dishes and put them away.
- Transport food and supplies from the kitchen to Terrace promptly.
- Stock supplies, fill soda and ice machines, organizing deliveries.
- Receive and put away delivery orders which includes labeling and dating items.
- Logging cooler, freezer, and dishwasher temperatures.
- Empty grease traps and dispose of oil.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you MUST meet the following:
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Have 2 years experience working in the food industry.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 20 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain proof of immunization records.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Pass all pre-employment screening including background screen and drug tests.
