Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Knowledge Management Specialist for the Tenants Contract, supporting the Air Force Division at the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate’s Developmental Planning Branch (AFRL/RWSD) at Eglin AFB, FL.

LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL

JOB STATUS: Full Time

TRAVEL: 5%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3-10 years relevant experience
• Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• SharePoint experience required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, expert attention-to-detail & highly organized
• Knowledge of Air Force instructions and operations

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise and assist in performing specific routine actions creating, managing, and maintaining databases to include but not limited to: tracking status of office tasks, suspenses, training, distributing office mail, and reviewing correspondence for correction of deficiencies.
• Develop, maintain, and update organizational SharePoint sites (Unclassified and Classified).Develop custom dashboards and databases to provide project leads, program managers, scientists, and government officials with appropriate data.
• Assist with keeping program Collaboration Files and SharePoint information up to date with current documentation and status updates.
• Analyze data/information needs and improves workflow processes.
• Assist with capturing, organizing, storing, and sharing information and knowledge to comply with laws, regulations, and policies
• Leverage AF data services and enterprise information services to make data visible, accessible, understandable, linked, and trusted
