We are looking to fill the role of a Knowledge Manager To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. This individual will provide Knowledge Management (KM) expertise across organizational divisions for data analytics, dashboard creation, requirements development and coordination, and collaborative tools to effectively use. Duties include:
Responsibilities:
- Timely, accurate and efficient management of KM articles
- Knowledge article audit compliance
- Coordinate daily with other knowledge managers and customer stakeholders
- Attend Knowledge Management Team meetings and provide expert support and recommendations from multiple stakeholder perspectives
- Oversee and improve the services and systems that the customers as a whole use to interface with their customers
- Monitor and maintain customer knowledge resource interface facets that will provide transparency and accountability
- Review and tailor processes to ensure they align to an effective knowledge management framework
- Develop practical and intelligent tools and programs (via customer websites and shared environments) to provide leadership, decision makers, and customers information in real time
- Provide guidance on strategic direction to ensure operational effectiveness, proficiency and alignment to internal controls
- Provide data, metrics, and input on respective KM performance across the division
- Train and rotate regularly with other knowledge management team members to achieve a full understanding of project management and document control, standard operating procedures, and program processes across the division
- Prioritize interchangeability with knowledge managers to provide customer with various state-of-the-art knowledge management services, intelligent products, and forward-thinking methods
- Work to understand the impediments to communication and collaboration at client organizations and shape solutions that lead to improved organizational effectiveness
- Provide recommendations for the development of knowledge management (KM) systems and offer results by designing and implementing SharePoint process improvement solutions
- Produce, for Government review and approval, KM standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with existing customer policy, which shall guide KM efforts within the organization and shall put the KM structure, practices, and governance model into place
- Provide position papers containing analysis that provide assessments regarding the effectiveness of current organizational SOPs and processes as discussed in the KM working group
- Facilitate using a variety of techniques and tools to enable that collaboration to occur, including disseminating information received to individuals or to the entire working group, prompting working group members to participate and provide specific items to the discussion
- Participate in meetings to ensure requirements and design concepts are accomplished through the creation of governance and maintenance plans, custom workflows and site themes, SharePoint content management with Microsoft Office applications, and the transfer of content from shared drives and other repositories to SharePoint
- Implement the KM practice by leveraging SharePoint as enabling technology, where applicable
- Provide formats and recommendations in the management and use of SharePoint from any prioritized KMWG recommendations which facilitate knowledge sharing
- Identify planned versus actual tasks completed within the previous week in these status updates
- Provide status updates to the client including actual versus planned task progress made, schedule status, surveys/interviews conducted, meetings attended, issues, and recommendations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, Master's degree with 7 years of experience or a High School diploma with a minimum of 13 years of experience.
- Proven experience in process improvement, knowledge management, and project management.
- Experience within cybersecurity organizations is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Highly organized and proactive.
- Must have an active Top Secret with Polygraph clearance. Note: U.S. Top Secret clearance requires U.S. Citizenship.
