As a Labor and Delivery RN at Crozer Health, you willprovide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care by coordinating patient care, and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families. You must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. We provideclinical excellenceacross abroad range of services right here at home.Responsibilities* Identifies stages of human growth and development and uses this information to provide age appropriate care to the patient population served.* Identifies the psychology of developmental stages and uses this information to provide age appropriate care which fosters growth.* Recognizes and reports suspected cases of child/elder abuse in accordance with applicable statutes.* Identifies the physiology and pathophysiology of pregnancy, labor, and the post partum period. Identifies the physiology and pathophysiology of the immediate newborn period Performs a comprehensive antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum assessment.* Performs a newborn assessment.* Prepares the delivery room for cesarean deliveryRequirements* PA RN License Required* 1 Year of clinical nursing experience in Medical -Surgical Nursing required* L&D experience* Mandated and Permissive Reporter TrainingWe offer thelargest network of primary care physicians in the county,as well as four hospitals toserve your needs, fromdelivering babies to open-heart surgery.
