LAB Technician II from Volt

About the Job
Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech II in Maplewood with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will be doing product development testing of tapes and liquid structural adhesives.
This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Tech II you will do:
- Tape testing: including peel, shear, tensile, rheology, liner release, etc. Sample preparation: substrate cleaning, die cutting, lamination, (training on relevant test methods and use of instrumentation).
- Adhesive testing: including dynamic shear, impact, viscosity, modulus, etc. Sample preparation (training on relevant test methods and use of instrumentation).
- Reporting of data accurately with desired details (no data analysis required)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or other related STEM field
- Minitab, JMP or other data entry software
- Experience in a laboratory or analytical lab setting
