LNA/Mental Health Tech - Resource Pool - The University of Vermont Health Network

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Under the general supervision of a licensed registered nurse, our Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA)/Mental Health Technician performs selected duties pertaining to direct and indirect nursing care of the patient.

EDUCATION: 

• Current LNA license to practice professional nursing in the State of Vermont is required. 

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required (can be trained upon hire for BLS).

• Must obtain AVADE certification within 6 months of hire.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

EXPERIENCE: 

One year of previous experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in a nursing home or hospital setting is required.
