Effective Pay Rate
When you work at SwiftShift, you are paid per your Effective Pay Rate. Effective Pay Rate has 4 major components:
Service Pay - This is the rate paid to you for delivering in-home services to the client.
Client Support Pay - This is the rate paid to you for supporting clients within your team.
Service Continuity Pay - This is the pay that is paid to every employee for every 500 hours of in-home services delivered.
Weekly Team Pay = This is the pay that is paid to every member of the care team who has delivered 30 or more hours of in-home services without any overtime.

Client Story
Johnny is an 11-year old boy diagnosed with epilepsy pileptic encephalopahty, epileptic aphasia, autism spectrum disorder with aggressive behavior, HA clusters, hyperopia, hypotonia. He needs skilled nurses 8hrs per day for 7 days/per week for NSD to assist child care, attend appointments, allow mother to perform EHD and allow mom to provide care to her other children. 6hours/day for school day to assist with child's after school care and allow mother to care for her other children and tend to essential household duties; 8hours/night x 7 niths/week for mother's sleepNeeds: monitoring for numerous seizures throughout the day and treating seizures with prescribed therapies as needed, medication administration. John has limited verbal abilities and now needs two people for transfers and mobility. He is dependent upon others for all ADLS. He utilizes a WC but can ambulate short distances with assistance. He requires increased support following seizure acitivity. He has no safety awareness and will try and put inedible objects into his mouth if not monitored. He suffers from intractable epilepsy with daily seizures, frequently occuring overnight and received rescue medication
