JOB DESCRIPTION: LVN Certified IV Infusion Specialist
- Full-Time Hourly.
- Weekdays 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
JOB SUMMARY: We are searching for a full-time IV Infusion Specialist to work for our medical clinics. The IV Infusion Specialist will administer a variety of IV vitamin services as well as weekly infusions. Our ideal candidate will enjoy working in a goal-oriented environment; must have excellent IV administration, computer, communication, and detail skills, as well as the ability to be positive, self-directed, and independent.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Administer IV and Infusion services following proper technique and sanitation requirements.
- Follow proper documentation processes in EMR system.
- Maintain weekly infusion logs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Obtain all signed patient consents and intake forms.
- Maintain inventory logs for supplies ordering.
- Confirm health insurance benefits and patient responsibility.
- Daily chart prep for the next day’s patients.
- Monitor inner office communication (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and EMR)
- Make outbound calls to patients to reschedule, confirm, or assist in other areas.
- As needed, refine clinical and administrative workflows.
- Identify problems; effectively and efficiently create solutions.
- Use excellent oral communication and exemplary customer service when interacting with patients or staff.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance in workplace settings.
- Complete other assigned duties as designated by the Manager or Director.
- Cover the Leander TX location occasionally.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work performed in a clinical setting.
- Regularly required to sit or stand while administering IV and Infusions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong IV experience and knowledge of safe practice is required.
- 2+ years of IV administration.
- LVN certification/license required.
- Completion of an accredited program for IV therapy, if applicable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- POSITIVE, professional attitude and code of conduct.
- Self-motivated and AMBITIOUS.
- Preferred: EMR EClinicalWorks experience
