Saint Luke’s East in Lee's Summitis looking for a Phlebotomist, Lab Support Technician.In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform blooddrawsand process specimens. Our lab is a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team with diverse backgrounds and experience levels, which ensures our vision of being“The best place to get care. Shift Details: Monday thru Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm, and rotating Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm
Responsibilities:
Collectspatient samplesin accordance withlaboratory’s policy, procedures, and regulatory standards
Uses education and experience toidentifyand resolve patient circumstances that might interfere withaccuratesample collection
Procedures may vary pending hospital location
We are seekinga phlebotomist/lab support technicianthat is confident in their skills, patient focused, positive, and willing to goabove and beyondfor their patients and peers. Phlebotomy experience is preferred, but notrequired. We are looking for professionals wholiketo multi-taskandstay busy, and able toadapt to rapidly changing laboratory workflow.
