Lab Technician at Experis

Our client in the consumer retail industry is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Home Care Division supporting scientists and engineers in the laboratory. The ideal candidate will have an analytical and curious mindset, basic understanding of CAD software, excellent communication skills, and hands-on skills in a shop environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN 100% onsite 

Pay Range: $20 to $24 per hour depending upon experience

What's the Job?

• Perform testing and record data on products and raw materials using defined test methods
• Use computer software to analyze data, summarize conclusions, and complete documentation
• Prepare, operate, and maintain basic hand tools, power tools, and lab equipment
• Independently carry out tasks and tests
• Perform routine lab duties including storing of samples, inventory of supplies and chemicals, and other typical lab tasks

What's Needed?

• BS or BA from an accredited university OR Two-year associate degree (2-year degree)
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience 
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)
• Analytical and curious mindset to understand data trends and solve problems
• MS office experience
