About the Job
National law firm seeks Associate Attorneys to represent clients in labor & employment and other general civil and commercial litigation in its Costa Mesa office. The ideal candidate has experience with wage and hour class action, PAGA, and FEHA. Join a dynamic and growing law firm with varied practice areas. Attorneys with their book of business are welcome. The successful candidate will have bar admission in California, a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school, and strong writing and organizational skills. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Represent clients in court.
- Depose witnesses, including expert witnesses
- Prepare cases for trial and assist at trial
- Defend challenging cases involving claims based on professional negligence, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, product liability, employment discrimination and harassment, breach of contract, general negligence, and other tort claims.
- Update clients through reporting and telephone conferences about significant developments in litigation
- Support client development and marketing efforts with the partnership.
- Develop legal skills through in-firm mentoring, in-house training sessions, and other professional development activities.
Salary:
$115k - $180k
