About the Job
As an Analyst I in the BioPharma Ligand Binding Assays (LBA) and Biomarker Services lab at KCAS, you get to further our mission by working under senior LBA and Biomarker scientists to contribute to the success of our clients.
The BioPharma LBA and Biomarker lab quantitates proteins and anti-drug antibodies to perform early drug discovery, preclinical toxicology work, and clinical studies, including multiplexing by LBA (ligand binding assays) platforms, LCMS (liquid c hromatography mass spectrometry), and flow cytometry.

In this roll, we will rely on you to:
- Process, prepare, analyze, and verify samples, laboratory solutions, reagents, method development, and reports
- Prepare study records and data summaries for senior scientists to aid in client updates and for archiving
- Independently create basic experiment plans and set up instrument configurations
To qualify specifically for this role, you will have:
- BS/BA degree in Cell Biology, Immunology, Protein Science, Biomechanical Engineering, or other life science field
- Some exposure to, or prior experience with, Bioassay (ELISA, ECL, or enzyme activity assays)
- Coachable and curious, with a desire to learn and grow in LBA and Biomarker Services
- Detail-oriented and commitment to quality, safety, accuracy, and reliability
- Ability to prioritize while working across multiple projects
