Shift: 1st shift
Compensation: $28.75 per hour
1-2 days a week would be working remotely

The ideal candidate must be comfortable primarily working by themselves but be willing to work in a small team when needed and able to take direction.

Responsibilities:
This position will encompass two primary responsibilities.
- First, the registration and inventory of research samples. The individual will work with staff scientists to catalog research samples stored in -70C freezers and enter information into a sample management database.
- Second, the qualified candidate will perform laboratory manager functions including, but not limited to, generating work orders, scheduling equipment maintenance and conducting lab safety inspections.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field
Preferred Experience:
- Candidates with data entry or sample management experience.
- Knowledge of sample repository/sample inventory software / Benchling databases a plus.
- Previous industry experiences working with biological samples preferred.
- Familiarity with biosafety level classification or infectious disease classification (BSL2 or BSL3 environments) a plus.
