Job Description:
Laboratory Technician I – Carthage, MO
This is a salaried, non-exempt level position.
Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, conducts in-process and finished product testing to determine adherence to established specifications of quality and purity.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data for a variety of purposes, such as production, quality control, and minor research.
+ Test and analyze products such as feed and wheat products to determine if product meets plant specifications prior to release.
+ Release within specification vessels and report out of specification vessels.
+ Document results of tests, readings, etc. in Total Lab Client (TLC). Complete Certificates of Analyses.
+ Prepare chemical solutions for use in the lab.
+ Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and related field instrumentation.
+ Maintains awareness and adheres to all FDA, GMP, TTB, USP, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines. Support and comply with all food safety, quality, and legality requirements.
+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Computer Skills to Utilize Lab Instrument Operation Programs
+ Basic Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge
+ Demonstrate Math Skills to Perform Calculations Associated with Lab Testing
+ Good Attendance, Including Flexible Schedule and Can Coordinate with Co-Workers
