Position Summary:
The Orlando Division of Ashton Woods and Starlight Homes is in search of a Land Coordinator to provide administrative support for the Land Acquisition, Entitlement and Development departments.
Responsibilities:
- Setup, maintain and close physical and electronic project files.
- Review, code, process and track check requests, and electronic payments associated with land entitlements and development.
- Consultant vendor setup and insurance compliance.
- Ensure that project files for each community are updated and complete.
- Generate and update land vendor and project trackers.
- Circulate critical date calendar invites to team members.
- Assist in the land development bidding and contracting process, including the assembly and distribution of bid packages. Prepare bid award and decline notices.
- Administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and distributing documents.
- Act as a liaison between the land department and other departments throughout the organization and process the distribution of materials needed by other departments.
- Organize files, binders, etc.
- Prepare letters, memorandums, transmittals, and emails.
- Arrange for courier, express mail, printing, and reproduction services.
- Assist HOA manager with organization and updating of HOA and CDD documents.
- General support and administrative tasks for Land Team.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in land, development and/or accounting administration preferred.
- Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and ability to learn new programs.
- Homebuilding experience is preferred.
