Join us. **Job Description** AECOM is now accepting resumes and portfolios from exceptional **Landscape Designers** to join our growing **Washington, DC** design studio. The DC design studio continually imagines and delivers a wide range of highly significant, award winning, landscape architecture projects both regionally and globally. As a Designer in our Landscape Architecture and Urban Design studio, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of project types such as plazas, streetscapes, parks, waterfronts, multi-modal infrastructure, urban design plans, master-planning, green infrastructure and ecological restoration at all stages of planning, design and implementation. Our collaborative design practice provides a small studio feel with the resources and exposure of a premier, international, multidisciplinary consulting firm. This position is hybrid with required time spent in the office each week. Responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to: + Works in collaboration with other designers on a wide array of projects ranging from streetscapes, urban spaces, and environmental remediation for a variety of Federal / Military clients + Prepares documents and graphics for all phases of landscape architectural design, inclusive of site analysis, master planning, schematic design, design development, and construction documents + Performing basic landscapt architectural calculations + Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables + Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups + Preparing and reviewing drawings as required + Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets + May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project + Possess strong graphic skills to generate two-dimensional and three-dimensional Design Graphics **AECOM’s Buildings + Places** practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture. Our teams have worked on signature projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Park and Legacy Framework, to the new plan for the LA2028 Olympics, to industrial facilities for GE and Rolls-Royce, to headquarters and workplaces for NASA, Unilever, Sony Music, DirecTV, Box, Inc., and many Fortune 500 companies. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** : + **BA/BS in Landscape Architecture or Architecture, plus two (2) years** of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Due to the nature of this work, **US citizenship is required** **Preferred Qualifications** + Professional experience in Microstation, Grasshopper, Revit, ArcGIS, Rhino, Lumion, BIM, FormIt, Enscape and other computer applications + Strong knowledge/interest in plant materials and their suitability for different conditions + Experience preparing construction documents + Working knowledge of grading, construction materials and detailing + Experience working on multidisciplinary teams + Professional LA licensure is a plus + Additional aligned credentials such as arborist certification, CPSI, LEED, CPTED, etc. **Additional Information** + Relocation is not available for this position + Sponsorship is not available for this position Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
