- This is a full-time role at KAT Wholesale in Blue Springs, Missouri!
- Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000k dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Process future customer orders – Research and acquire material, give advice on plants, and offer substitutions if needed.
- Develop and grow the customer relationship – Proactively know and understand our customer needs.
- Be an expert resource for customers – Demonstrate knowledge of the landscape/nursery industry.
- Delivery Management – Ensuring customer deliveries are on time and meet customer needs.
Essential Job Duties:
- Manage delivery process and policy
- Ensure customer confirmation prior to deliveries leaving yard
- Maintain a high level of customer service through phone calls, electronic communication and customer visits
- Promote KAT Wholesale as the leader in quality, service, and availability
- Manage assigned customer accounts
- Familiarity with on-hand and future inventory
- Facilitate delivery/pick-up
- Inspection of material and orders
- Promote KAT Wholesale product lines and services
- Provide sales forecast through management of future orders and customer quotes
- Proactively identify and solve problems
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote and manage a safe work environment while following direction from the safety committee.
- Promote and foster KAT Wholesale core values
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good knowledge of landscape products, both hard and green goods
- Basic computer skills, software proficiency including Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required: 5 years in plant industry or related fields, landscaping, garden centers, and/or nurseries
- Required: Experience in customer service and sales
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent
- Required: Flexibility to work Saturdays during the spring and fall seasons.
