We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lawn Care Technician to join our growing team at Hope Grows Corp. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors, enjoy creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes, and possess the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality lawn care services, including fertilization, weed control, aeration, mowing, trimming, and other landscape maintenance duties. You will interact with clients and ensure their lawns and landscapes are maintained to the highest standard, promoting healthy and aesthetically pleasing environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing to keep lawns neat and well-maintained.
- Apply fertilizers, weed control products, and other lawn treatments following industry best practices and safety guidelines.
- Identify and treat lawn pests and diseases using safe, environmentally-friendly methods.
- Conduct lawn aeration and overseeding to promote healthy grass growth.
- Inspect and maintain irrigation systems, adjust watering schedules, and troubleshoot issues.
- Assist with landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, pruning, and general landscape enhancements
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs, answer questions about lawn care services, and provide lawn care tips when necessary.
- Maintain and clean lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and spreaders, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the safe use of equipment, chemicals, and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, products used, and any recommendations provided to clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of lawn care equipment, fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.
- Ability to operate lawn care equipment (mowers, trimmers, edgers) safely and efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
