About the Job
Our client, a financial services company, is seeking a Lead .NET Developer
Location: Iselin, NJ/ Hybrid
Position Type: Contract
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop software solutions with .net technologies following best practices.
Follow DevOps principles to achieve SDLC goals.
Work as an Agile squad member and interact with other members as well as stakeholders including business and technology partners across Asset Management, Sales, IT Infrastructure and DevOp teams to deliver satisfactory results.
Take ownership of the applications from analysis, design, development to unit testing as well as production support
Qualifications: 7+ years of hands-on experience in developing enterprise web applications using Microsoft .net, .net core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, JavaScript based frameworks, HTML programming, XML, web services
Understanding of HTTP, IIS and how the browser works.
5+ years of solid experience in SQL Server technologies (e.g
T-SQL queries, performance tuning),
5+ years of experience with software engineering best practices (e.g
unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, etc.).
2+ years Knowledge of at least one cloud technology, AWS preferred.
Good knowledge of source control (preferably Git) and CI/CD delivery frameworks (e.g
Cloudbees, Jenkins).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred: 3+ years architecture experience in building horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low latency applications utilizing distributed technologies such as queue and caching.
Knowledge of SQL Server SSRS and SSIS.
MongoDB or Oracle database experiences.
Knowledge in scripting languages such as Python.
Experience in working with Agile methodology.
