We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to lead the development of our scalable Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform. This role will focus on building the foundation that enables business teams across the company to leverage "off the shelf” AI-driven solutions efficiently and effectively, powering our business's future success.

Responsibilities:

• Drive AI Strategy:
  • Partner with leadership and product teams to understand business needs and prioritize AI initiatives that drive value for the organization.
  • Act as the subject-matter expert on AI tool, providing guidance and support to teams on how to select, implement and leverage these technologies effectively.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of AI/ML technologies into products and services.
  • Ensure the platform is user-friendly, modular, and efficient, allowing various teams to easily leverage AI technologies/vendor solutions
• Platform and Infrastructure Development:
  • Ensure the AI platform/tool set is designed with scalability, security, and robustness in mind.
  • Partner with DevOps and IT teams to ensure the platform is integrated with broader company infrastructure and supports CI/CD pipelines for Machine Learning (ML) models.
  • Lead efforts to create data sets that transform raw data into actionable insights for teams across the company.
  • Influence the business intelligence team to ensure data pipelines are optimized for scalability and accuracy, supporting the rapid deployment of AI solutions.
• AI Innovation and Best Practices:
  • Keep the organization at the forefront of AI innovation by adopting and implementing best practices, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, testing new ideas and approaches to continuously improve AI-driven products/services.
• Monitor Performance and Drive Continuous Improvement:
  • Track platform performance, data product success, and model accuracy, using metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Implement feedback loops to refine AI models and ensure they meet or exceed business expectations.
  • Build out a data quality framework to ensure model accuracy over time.

• Proven Business Impact: 3+ years of experience in leading AI initiatives with a proven track record of designing/implementing successful AI-driven solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of AI technologies—Large Language Models (LLM's), Generative AI and Diffusion models as well as and modern data engineering tools.
• Platform Development: Proven experience in sourcing, driving selection/architecting and deploying scalable AI tools, building data pipelines, and managing infrastructure for AI solutions.
• Business Acumen: Ability to bridge the gap between AI capabilities and business goals, ensuring the technology meets the needs of specific business teams and the broader business.
• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, fostering partnerships to deliver AI solutions that address impactful business needs.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in ecommerce and/or B2C/B2B product based businesses highly preferred
