Lead Cleaner for Hawk Mountain Lodge

Lead Cleaner oversees the upkeep and cleanliness of Zoar Outdoor overnight accommodations at the Hawk Mountain Lodge. This position requires a flexible planner, good communication and being able to be a team player.

Lead cleaner & cleaning staff are expected to address and/or report to management any maintenance or safety hazards as they become evident as well as any unexpected events, occurrences or damage on the property whenever they may happen

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for the cleanliness of all guest rooms & common areas before, during and after guest stays.
Empty and disinfect trash receptacles and dispose of waste.
Clean and sanitize toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks.
Clean rugs, carpets, tile, outside decks, rubber & concrete floors.
Wash down walls, windows, counters, tables and other fixtures.
Collect, sort, wash and put away laundry, towels and linens.
Strip beds and place fresh linen on them, put out fresh towels.
Replenish room supplies such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper.
Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
Use cleaners & disinfectants according to manufacturer's specifications.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

Skilled in providing outstanding customer service.
High energy and stamina required.
Able to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively.
Able to work independently with little to no supervision.
Engage in friendly communications with all guests and customers.
Show extreme care about minute details, being precise and thorough.
Must be able to read labels on chemicals and follow product directives.
Must understand and follow workplace safety standards.
